About Cosmic Sizzle Sauce
Cosmic Sizzle Sauce is a conceptual BBQ brand exploring otherworldly flavors and adventurous branding. For this project, I designed the visual identity and packaging to capture the bold, cosmic personality of the product while keeping it approachable and fun.
Objective
Cosmic Sizzle Sauce required a bold brand identity and packaging design for the launch of its Mango Chipotle BBQ sauce. The goal was to attract younger, flavour-curious consumers with a playful, modern look that stands out on retail shelves and clearly communicates the sweet-heat profile.Process
The process began by establishing a brand direction that would feel playful and bold to differentiate the product from traditional, rustic BBQ competitors. Bright, contrasting colours and rounded typography were chosen to signal approachability and flavourforward energy, while custom illustrations helped quickly communicate the mango–chipotle profile. The logo uses a simple UFO icon and rounded forms to reinforce the brand’s playful, cosmic theme while signaling bold, unexpected flavours. The packaging system was designed with scalability in mind, creating a flexible layout that could support future flavours without losing brand recognition.

I designed a fun and playful logo to reflect Cosmic Sizzle Sauce’s vibrant brand personality. Each logo variation is tailored for different marketing materials and packaging, ensuring versatility across all applications. The design incorporates a UFO in every version, highlighting Cosmic Sizzle Sauce’s “out-of-this-world” flavors.
